This unique position demands a very particular candidate, who must show multi-faceted aptitudes:

  • Strong communication skills, as the role requires daily dialog with all Base studios globally. The ability to collaborate well with other creatives is essential.
  • Creative talents in design, animation, and art direction to create impactful visual and social content, sometimes on a very tight schedule.
  • Super organized and able to manage different work streams simultaneously. Meeting deadlines is a must.
  • Mostly, the candidate must excel at being proactive and resourceful, always proposing new concepts or improvements to processes. A true “Swiss army knife designer,” never short of ideas.

Job Description

Collect and create visual content and concepts for internal and external Base communications, including:

  • Social: Preparing posts, stories, and video content for Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn to share our work, ideas, and news
  • Website: Keeping the content of the BaseWebsite up to date (new case stories, news page, jobs, employee bios, etc.)
  • Press: Creating assets and selecting images of our newest and best work to share with the press.
  • Newsletter: Compiling content to share in our monthly newsletter, staying aware of happenings in all the studios, and deciding what would be interesting for our community to hear about from us.
  • New Formats: Exploring new formats for our comms, coming up with new initiatives to keep us fresh, and always being curious.

The successful candidate will have a one-month transition phase with the former Comms designer to ensure a smooth transition.
