Less is More, More or Less.


Robert wears two pairs of glasses. At Base, he wears two hats. As strategist, he turns business problems into brand strategy solutions and design concepts. And, as editor, he guides Base's thought-leadership.

Robert's practice, however diverse, is driven by restless curiosity, Zen philosophy, and the search for ultimate simplicity. He is a graduate of The University of Pennsylvania, where he studied technology, design, and music, and has worked at IDEO, Vice, Sylvain Labs, and Master & Dynamic. His work has been featured in Complex, The New York Times, Fast Company, and Wallpaper Magazine.
