BaseGVA is growing, and we're looking for a mid-level Designer to join our creative team. As a Designer at Base, you will work with the Design Director and Creative Director along with the project team to conceptualize, create, and help manage the day-to-day to ensure the success of a wide range of projects.

  • Employment: 80%-100%
  • Location: Geneva
  • On-site
  • Expected Start: at the earliest possible time

 

Responsibilities

  • Apply Base's 'concept first' approach to branding and translate a brand essence into a relevant, differentiating brand identity.
  • Take ownership of design workstreams from concept to final production, with support from the Design Director.
  • Develop flexible design systems and document them into clear guidelines, templates, and asset files across digital and print.
  • Contribute to and present in creative and client meetings, building confidence in defending ideas.
  • Work with strategists, other designers, and collaborators to enrich the quality of the work.
  • Support pitches and proposals, including under tight deadlines.

 

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of creative experience, ideally at an agency or creative studio
  • Motion, Type design or UX / UI design experience is a plus
  • Works fluently across creative disciplines and media
  • Strong command of current industry tools, with the ability to adapt to new technologies (Adobe Creative Cloud, After Effects, Figma)
  • Strong visual culture: well-versed in photography, film, art, and design references, with a sharp, discerning eye.
  • Collaborative. Proactive. Positive. Rigorous.

  • Stylistically versatile: comfortable adapting to a brand's voice rather than repeating your own
  • Culturally engaged and perpetually curious about the world around you
  • Fluent French and English
