Growth Manager

BaseSGN is seeking a Growth Manager to drive business development — with a primary focus on bringing new clients and opportunities into Base, while also supporting the broadening of long-term relationships with existing clients. You'll be building and running a proactive outbound pipeline, while staying connected to the full client ecosystem as part of one team working toward shared growth. This is not a delivery role: it sits at the front of the business, finding and advancing the opportunities that keep Base moving forward.

Responsibilities
- Generate qualified business leads and build a robust, trackable pipeline—prospecting, qualifying, and developing relationships independent of existing accounts.
- Identify and advance new client relationships across Base's target industries, running first and qualification meetings independently and bringing decision-ready opportunities to founders for prioritization and close.
- Run discovery and qualification meetings solo by default; escalate to founders only against the defined triggers above — not on an ad hoc, case-by-case basis.
- Lead response to inbound opportunities and RFPs, coordinating with creative and strategy leads on proposal development.
- Develop Base's extended network (referral partners, past clients, industry contacts) into a structured, trackable pipeline rather than ad hoc opportunity flow.
- Keep on top of market and industry trends to surface new expansion opportunities for founder evaluation.
- Facilitate initial meetings with prospects, looping in founders and creative leadership at the appropriate stage.
- Partner with Account Managers on large-scale expansion opportunities within existing accounts — with clear handoff criteria so ownership doesn't overlap.
- Support pricing and positioning for new business pitches, working within strategy set by founders.
- Track and report pipeline health, conversion rates, and forecasted new business revenue
- Represent Base externally at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build market presence.
- Collaborate with strategy and creative teams to ensure proposals reflect Base's full capability and differentiation.
Requirements
[Essential]
- 5+ years in business development, new business, or growth roles, ideally within a creative, branding, or B2B services agency.
- Demonstrated track record of sourcing and closing new client relationships — not primarily managing renewals or upsell.
- Strong existing network within Vietnam/SEA's brand, marketing, or executive community.
- Confident operating independently with founder-level visibility, without an existing BD infrastructure to lean on.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both Vietnamese and English.
- Comfortable owning pipeline numbers and revenue forecasting, not just relationship-building.
