BaseSGN is looking for an interaction designer who blends 3D design (Blender, Cinema 4D) with motion design (After Effects). You’ll move fluidly from concept to craft—bringing brands, products, and spaces to life across campaign and experiential work.

  • Employment: Full-time
  • Location: On-site, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
  • Start: As soon as possible

Responsibilities

  • Translate brand/campaign concepts into compelling motion pieces and 3D visuals—from rough sketches and animatics to polished deliverables.
  • Visualize products, environments, and event spaces (look-dev, lighting, materials, cameras, simple sims), producing final 3D scenes and renders.
  • Build storyboards, style frames, and motion tests; animate typography, graphics, and scenes; deliver final edits with sound handoff.
  • Contribute ideas proactively, challenge the brief where useful, and push beyond trends to original, brand-right outcomes.
  • Move quickly between conceptual exploration and production-ready files; document versions and maintain clean project structures.
  • Partner with designers, project managers, and producers to scope, estimate, and deliver on time and to spec.

Requirements

  • ~3+ years as a Motion and/or 3D Designer (we’re open to strong junior profiles).
  • Fluency with Cinema 4D and/or Blender; After Effects; plus Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Creative + strategic thinking; You can connect brand goals to visual decisions, not just “make it move.”
  • Clear, concise, and collaborative—written, verbal, and in files.
  • You’re culturally aware and eager to experiment.
  • We’re open to splitting the role into two specialized positions (Motion or 3D). If you’re strong in one discipline, please apply.

Please apply with the following to sgn-jobs@basedesign.com with the subject line “Interaction Designer Application”:

  • Portfolio/reel showcasing process (boards → tests → finals) and your specific contributions.
  • Brief note on tools, role on each project, and availability.
