Biography

Daniel Peterson is a Melbourne-based Graphic Designer, and the Creative Director of Base’s current Australian satellite office, where he works in collaboration with his wife, and creative partner, Caroline Cox. His work is grounded in strategic rigor, driven by conceptual thinking, and aims to combine the emotional and intellectual.

He has worked as a Designer / Art Director at Fabio Ongarato Design, a Pseudo-Architect at 2×4, an Art-Director / Designer at Noë & Associates, and most recently, as the Design Director of Base’s New York office. He has taught courses, lectured and led workshops at Swinburne University in Melbourne, and is a frequent design and thesis critic at Columbia University and Parsons New School for Design in New York.
